2018 Fit. SRS dash-light on and Snap On Solus computer pulling B00A0-54 Code (Front Passenger Seat Weight Sensor Not Calibrated). Tried re-calibrating with Solus multiple times and unsuccessful. Honda is recalling 750 thousand vehicles to address this weight sensor issue (only 2020 Fit is covered by this recall) and they will not cover mine (I tried calling corporate).
Any insight as to whether a Honda Dealership computer would do the job of recalibrating knowing that the Snap On Solus has not worked? Hate to spend the $150 for a diagnostic to be told that replacement is the only option. Could replace the seat with one from the junkyard, with the fear that the same issue could occur. Thoughts / suggestions appreciated.
