40% oil life atfer 12 months and 5k miles
Hello Fit Freaks. It has been a full year and 5,000 miles (yes, that's all) since my last oil change. But the maintenance minder says I still have 40% oil life left. Should I wait until the maintenance minder says I have 10% oil life and tells me to get it serviced?
This is my 2019 Fit LX CVT that I bought new in 2018. It has about 25,000 miles on it, since I am not a big driver. I love the car. It was my first new car and I enjoyed having a fresh, new Honda Fit. But I love it as a 6-year-old car too and hope it endures for years as a faithful old car.

Go ahead and have the oil changed.
As per the maintenance minder section of the owner's manual, it is recommended to do an annual oil change at minimum regardless of mileage or if the maintenance minder had not yet prompt an alert.
