Oil Temperature / Pressure Gauge
Hey there!
I wanted to install an electronic Oil temperature and pressure gauge on my 2018 Honda Fit Sport. I am using a Lufi XS OBD2 gauge which works great but unfortunately it does not show any oil temperature or pressure information.
Has anyone installed a gauge(s) on their GK5? Can you recommend a good gauge and the most important thing, where on the GK5 is the location (oil fitting) I can insert the gauge sensor on the engine.
Appreciate your time. Thanks!

Answering my own post for people who might be asking in the future.
I recently reached out to Brian G. of VTEC Academy regarding the placement of the oil pressure readings. Typically, these readings are taken either where the oil pressure warning light plugs in or at the oil filter.
However, after reviewing the parts lists on HondaPartsNow.com, I didn't find an oil pressure sensor listed for the 2018 Fit Sport engine.
Therefore, I believe the best solution would be to use an oil filter sandwich plate to house the sensors. I think I will just pass on this!

Let us know how it goes. With pics if possible.

There is definitely viability of reading oil pressure readings as my Autel picks up rocker arm pressure. Also, yes there is a switch- rock auto offers it- assume everyone you talk to in this industry as clueless or incompetent, except me (kidding).
Seriously though, I don't recall seeing anything on the front of the engine, sometimes these are on the firewall sides of the engine, in fact I'm pretty sure I unplugged mine at one point, but if it's not there, also check the back of the head (above transmission). Worst case scenario depending on your will and mental capacity you could piggyback off of the 'rocker arm pressure' wiring going into the ECU (behind battery- easy to get to). AlldataDIY offers access to full vehicle schematics and repair info for somewhere around $20. Might be worth a try.
Cheers.
