Outside Temperature Sensor

Mine went to heaven about 2 years ago, and seeing that to replace the sensor requires removing a lot of front end parts, so I decided to pass, unless someone knows a way of cutting into some cosmetic parts to get to the sensor, which I don't know exactly where it is located. The funny is that when the sky decided to drop heavy rain, the sensor sends a default reading to the gauge of -40 deg F.. This has happened a couple of times now.

The only thing I know is that my manual says "The temperature sensor is in the front bumper." Nice and specific.

It is right behind the front bumper and removing that front bumper is very easy.

On a warm day, you can safely access the temp sensor by removing the lower grill.
