Right Instrument Cluster
Right Instrument Cluster
My 2015 Fit EX had the right cluster, the one with mileage, time, and MPG, fade out occasionally. It was readable, but barely. Now, it has started going completely blank. Have any of you experienced that? If I bring it to the dealer, he'll charge $500 or more to analyze the problem and $1,500 more to repair it. The most important part of the gauge is the mileage. I'll have to start keeping track with a paper and pencil - or a GPS.
This happened to me on my 2019 Fit. It wasn't fading, it was instead showing jumbled digits and going completely blank. It was frustrating, I thankfully was able to have it covered under warranty.
Others have documented this issue and provided some fixes, it is seemingly related to some soldered joints on the screen's circuit board.

I found two more, so below are all four. This seems to be a common problem.
