Rear shock mounts unavailable, possible replacements?

I've had a loud clunking noise from the rear when going over bumps or uneven roads, and a shop confirmed the right rear shock is completely worn out. They recommend replacing the rear shocks, but the rear shock mounts are unavailable and on backorder.

This is part 52670-TAR-A01.

Are there any non-OEM versions of this part that would work for the 2015 LX? Or any other workaround?

Thanks.

You can buy every part needed to replace the components of your suspension, from multiple brands, on RockAuto.com (and other websites).

I also did a search of the part number you indicated. Each of the first three websites that popped up had the official Honda part ($81 - $114), so I would assume it's not that hard to find.

I appreciate the suggestions! I contacted three vendors (possibly the same three you found in a search) as well as a local dealership by phone and none of them actually had the part in stock or were able to source it. They all confirmed it's backordered from Honda.

I checked RockAuto but unfortunately they don't seem to carry a replacement shock mount.

This is one of the vendors I called that confirmed they didn't have the part in stock nor the ability to source it. They confirmed it's backordered from Honda.

It sounds like you might be out of luck for the Honda part, at least in the short term.

On the other hand, if you replace the shocks you shouldn't be hitting the bump stops. I can't recall ever hitting the bump stops on a road car in 30 years of driving. But, I also drive like an old man.

I would take your old bump stop into a large auto parts store and ask to compare it with bump stops they sell for other vehicles. It's just a piece of rubber with a hole through the middle, meant to provide a bit of cushion if you reach the end of your shock travel (again, this shouldn't be a regular occurrence on a road vehicle). If you can find something close it should work and you can always replace it with the official part later if you want. It's entirely possible that you can find an exact match for the part you need. There aren't that many manufacturers of basic/simple parts like a bump stop, and the same piece is likely found in multiple vehicles across manufacturers. If you get lucky the auto parts store you choose will have an old guy with three teeth who will stare at your bump stop, scratch his butt for a few seconds, and then walk into the back and return with a dusty box with a part that looks identical.

Thanks for all the input! My local repair shop was able to source the OEM parts from Honda about 2 weeks later, and I've since had the repairs done.
