Clutch & cylinder parts recommendations?

2015 Fit EX manual transmission 299094 miles.

in a different thread I described the issue and received good feedback. Thanks all.

Ive decided to replace the clutch components, flywheel, master and slave cylinders, and the rear main seal.

A friend is letting me use his garage and lift. My son is helping but the lift will make a huge difference. We just got it onto the lift today and will start disassembly tonight.

what are the recommendations for brands, etc on the parts?

dealership is quoting 1600 plus taxon parts when my friend runs them through his shop.

summit racing quote
Clutch kit 218.99 (luk)
Slave 39.99 (ship 10th) (beckley)
Master 47.9 (cant get till November)
Flywheel 124.99. (Luk)
Rear main seal 16 (mahl)

summit racing also says the two dealerships near me often order parts from them.

thanks for the input

Get your parts from rockauto if you can and make sure you search for the current 5% discount "referral" code. I recommend exedy over Luk, the exedy clutch is made in Japan. Get yourself the NSK throwout bearing which is OEM, other brands are known to cause noise. Also, a brand new exedy flywheel is about 80 bucks, again, save the money and get Exedy instead of Luk. Also, get an OEM rear main seal and plan on replacing the pilot bearing as well.

Thanks. I’ve been looking for exedy parts but not finding anything that’s not rebranded and that gives me pause. Since I’m not familiar with most rebrands.

ill check out rock auto. I am ordering the seal from dealership since hondapartsnow has a reputation for delayed shipping and poor customer service.
