2015 Rear Wiper???’s
2015 Rear Wiper???’s
I’m on my second wiper that doesn’t fit. They all seem to come with all the universal mounting hardware but nothing resembles the one i removed. Is there a certain one i should be looking at. Or can you get just the refill for these.
I recently installed new Rain-X Expert Fit wipers all around:

Mounting hardware is very easy to snap into place, and easily removed if you need to.
I can verify they fit my '16 LX.
They have separate front and rear wipers in this line. You want to specify R-16 for the rear.

If you have the original frame, a refill is available from Honda. 76622-T5A-003 (about $8 list price) is just the rubber blade. 76730-T5A-003 (about $22 list price) also includes the frame and blade rails.
Changing the blade isn't complicated - The blade and rails (metal strips that fit into the sides of the rubber blade) slide out of the wiper frame from one end. Move the rails over to the new blade and slide it back into the frame, making sure the rails slide into the little C-shaped guides at each point the blade contacts the frame.

For apples to apples, $17 Canadian is (today) US$12.14.
When I bought several rear wipers for my Fit in 2021 I paid US$8.92 each, so the price above doesn't seem too far out of line.

They're under "Electrical / Exhaust / Heater / Fuel" and then "Front Windshield Wiper" and "Rear Wiper" for those looking them up. "RUBBER, BLADE" is the refill. "Blade, Windshield Wiper" and "Blade, RR. Windshield Wiper" are the rubber blade, the support rails, and the frame - A snap-onto-the-wiper-arm assembly like you get with aftermarket brands.
I didn't know that refills were available for the OEM frame back when I needed to change my rear wiper the first time, so I ended up just getting some cheap ones on Amazon. I've ordered a couple packs of them over the years.. they come in a 2-pack and cost around $8-9 per pack. I used to have to change them at least once a year until I switched my rear wiper to a vertical resting position (followed the instructions in the post about it in these forums). They last quite a bit longer between changes now. This is on a 2019 Fit EX.
The other big factor to wiper longevity is parking inside/under cover.

Man, I wish I could do this.. but we've got two EVs that have to have garage space for charging (1 wife, 1 daughter), plus another ICE vehicle (other daughter). I'm relegated to the gravel parking spot next to the driveway, and the HOA won't allow any type of portable carport/cover thing. It was already a fight just to keep that gravel spot so I don't have to park on the street like our other daughter's car. Really wish I'd have bought a house with three garage bays.
Indeed. Not going there any more for anything. There's another Honda dealer not many miles away if I need one.
I got the refills at the other Honda dealer (like $30 out the door with tax) and when I went to put them on, I found the Chevy dealership at which I bought the car had swapped out the OEM wipers for some low-end wiper and blade. The refills wouldn't -- uhh -- fit. So back they went to the Honda dealer and I ordered new blades (which come with the rubber) from Honda OEM Parts Online. I've been using them instead of HPN because I don't like how HPN has their Web site set up and I couldn't find anyone there who could answer basic questions about three wiper blade items that appeared (to this new-ish Honda owner) the same.
Thanks for the directions on the HPN site. I'm very happy with the Honda wipers and happy to know refills are going to be cheap.

You're being a good dad and that's way more important.
or find it on amazon, itll ship to you the next day
2nd gen and 3rd gen fits are the same wipers, idk about the 1st gen but i would assume as well
I have a 2015 fit and my dad has my 2010 and i just bought both of us wipers on amazon its like $6

That's robbery. HondaPartsNow lists the MSRP as $8.25 US for each of the 3 refill blades. They mark that down to $5.84. Even with shipping and handling (California to Delaware, coast to coast), that's $37. Two sets of refills (6 blades) comes out to $51.33 shipped. Ordering more makes it cheaper per blade.

I bought a couple of exhaust spring-bolts, maybe 4 years ago? I threw them on the scale and looked up the current rates - they were spot-on the same price as sterling silver.
