The moon roof on my 2015 will lift at the rear, but it will not slide back. It will start to move, but then it will stop. The latest attempt moved it about 2". It's not like I can look inside the track and see if anything is blocking it. Any ideas?

 

The appropriate service manual likely has some diagnostic advice, and will definitely have disassembly/reassembly instructions.

Mine did that and it was the switch, according to the dealer who fixed it (used). Thinking back now, the symptoms were that it would not close unless I pressed it multiple times and "caught it" at the right place (closed).

 

When my roof jammed on the way open on my new-to-me 2017, I was able to close it, then put it in tilt position for some shop vac and track wiping from the inside. After I got it to open fully, I wiped every greasy area clean and reapplied plastic-safe grease to the same areas. I also cleaned the perimeter rubber seal and treated with silicone oil.

If the tracks aren't clogged with debris or dirty grease, I see some folks are helped by the reset procedure in these clips (with, or without the toes). ;-)
