2015 Honda Fit crank No start… VVT? Timing chain?

That at least makes more sense. Though seeing as these engines still start with most of the oil drained out of the VTC actuator (the bit on the cam gear), I don't think the crud is the source of your no-start. Clean the screens a couple more times to make sure you got all the debris out of the oil supply passage (debris in the other two will be down-stream now), starting the engine between cleanings. Replace the O-ring before final re-install.

Yeah good plan,,,,,maybe the computer prevented it from starting due to multiple cam codes…I was happy the Variable Valve Timing solenoid screen was clear….… the cowl of the engine had a whole bunch of pine debris on it…. I can see someone laying the oil control solenoid on it …. i’m also gonna pull the inspection cover and check the tensioner….
