Crank no start
Crank no start
I have a 2008 fit I am dealing with a crank no start situation I have replaced the fuel pump 3 days ago I am getting spark and all four coil packs and I tried putting starter fluid in it to see if I'm not getting fuel and the engine and the car still wouldn't start the car was running I drove it four different times until one day driving it. It lost power and died and now it just cranks and doesn't fire any ideas of what it is?

that's what I'm starting to think that it's a timing issue or something worse. The bad thing is that the timing in this car is inside the valve cover. So I have to take the top part of the engine apart just to check it.
I've had it a battery issue to where I had to jump it when I first got it that issue Still Remains but the car was running fine after I jumped it and then all of a sudden it lost power and then died and then when I tried to turn it on it just cranked and didn't fire
Why did you need to replace the fuel pump? Are there any codes?
I would suspect it lost fuel pressure and died but there should have been a code or 2.
After that maybe a simple case of being flooded. Try holding the accelerator pedal to the floor and cranking until it fires. In this position it opens something in the throttle body to allow just air in (I think). It's in your owner's manual under "starting."

I believe it's around 140000 and I was just driving it in the parking lot of a HEB and bog down as if I lost power to it then after that it would only crank and not start I the floor the gas just to get it to go 10 miles an hour
Think of basics: air, fuel & spark.
I think this problem is electrical since your problem was resolved previously with a battery boost (and starter fluid does not help).
1- no/low electricity going to all spark plugs. Maybe you have enough power to turn the starter but insufficient power to for all computers and/or to send spark to cylinders (odd).
- Unlikely spark plugs or coils as you indicate zero are working so I think you need to work backwards (or start from battery and work forwards)
- Inspect and clean high power electrical contacts at your battery, starter, alternator, fuse box, body grounds, engine grounds.
- Get your battery load tested at an auto parts store for free. If your battery is over 4 years old prime candidate for replacement.
- Inspect all your ignition wires, computer harnesses for damage/good connection/corrosion.
- Check fuses.
- Bottom of first post has a video and some random text on load testing your system. You can only do some preliminary testing as the engine does not start so finding resistance on wires is just a bit more effort.

2 - no/low fuel going to cylinders - Unless new pump is bad/incorrectly installed. Check fuel pressure / make sure fuel is going to cylinders. Check fuse.
** Be really careful around fuel so you don't blow up car. Study about batteries as they tend to explode and can electrocute or blind you; wear goggles. Good luck.

But you Floored the gas and went 10 miles an hour ?????????????? How far? for how long?
This is after it died in the parking lot.......
and your floored the gas and drove how far..... did it drive like that all the way home........
Why are you so sure you have spark?
AND
Is that battery issue resolved????? what did you do to resolve the battery issue???????(which is part of the starting(cranking) system.... not the run system)

We have a replaced fuel pump and a dead battery that we know of.
Nick (may I call you Nick?) I'd recommend getting it diagnosed at your mechanic's, paying the fee.
In the meantime, why did you replace the pump? What shape is the battery in? How long have you had the car? A shorted battery could do really strange things with the electrical system.
