Option for Replacing EX Driver Mirror?
Option for Replacing EX Driver Mirror?
So my 2016 (still going strong) got slightly clipped on a busy city street and the driver mirror was twisted such that the mounting plastic for it INSIDE the mirror "head" (not the mount on the door itself, but inside the housing for the mirror) got shredded. The housing is totally intact, though currently off. The mirror is dangling by the wiring harness from the mount on the door.
I called my local autobody and they're talking $700-$1,000 to replace it.
Do I have any much cheaper options? Like I said, the mount (and the screws) are still there in the door piece. The passenger mirror has a camera, but this doesn't. I'm unsure if this has heat, but it may as this is at least an EX (leather seats, sunroof, heated seats).
Thanks.

I'm hoping to get some definitive answers on exactly what it is I need. Do I need the entire assembly? Is there just a mount that can be gotten without getting the whole assembly? That sort of thing.
