Whack-A-Mirror

I was in Michigan over the weekend visiting a friend. My driver's side mirror got bashed off with a baseball bat I'm pretty sure. It looks pretty fixable in that the only parts damaged were the glass of the mirror itself and the fiberglass/plastic part that holds the mirror and get bolted to the door. The housing is not damaged and the motors are fine plus I can solder the wires back together no problem. I know the motors are fine because the wires were still attached when I found it, I had to cut them so it wouldn't flail around on the 10 hour drive home.

Anyone know where to get either 1. sweet aftermarket mirrors for the both sides (they'd have to come with the door mount since it broke) or 2. where I can get new glass and the door mount? I would prefer to not spend heaps of money on this fix if possible. I'm gonna hunt around websites tomorrow myself, I just thought I would see what you all might have to say about it.

First thing that comes to mind for me is hoping to be lucky enough for there to be a blue 07 fit with the other side smashed in at a local junkyard so I can get the drivers side mirror from it.

Thanks all!

Looking around real quick I see Kool-Vue mirrors for REALLY cheap like this - Discount Auto Mirrors - 2007 Honda Fit

or moderately priced color matched mirrors here - 76250-SLN-A01ZA | HONDA FIT L. DOOR MIRROR ASSY. (R.C.) (VIVID BLUE PEARL) | FIT Original Parts @ bkHondaParts.com

Anyone know if that second one is the whole mount and everything or is it just the mirror housing without the mount?

You can pick up the whole assembly from a dealership for about $150 already color matched.

Thanks, I discovered that about an hour ago. Sadly all the dealerships around here are charging $209.45 for it. I could buy the same thing online for $150ish but there would be shipping charges and I'd have to drive around for a week or more with no mirror unless I got speedy shipping and that would put it near or over $209.

Its up to you how you do it, but if it were me, spending a little extra to have things done the right way seems like the way to go.
