RPM at 65mph

RPM at 65mph

So doing some fuzzy math with final drive ratio and tire size it looks like about 5000 rpm at 65mph. Can anyone confirm numbers like that? That really seems to be whizzing!

That's not right.

The top gear ratio, final drive, and tire size are all the same as the GE Fit. That means it'll be running the same ~2850 at 60 mph, or 3087 at 67.

Maybe you were assuming the top gear was direct, rather than overdriven?

Anyhow, it's roughly 3000 rpm at 60mph, give or take a little bit.

Lol that would give a top speed of 85 @ 6500
