Transmission speeds for AutoX

What speeds are you guys getting in your Fit for AutoX?

1st - mph
2nd - moh
Etc

The reason I ask is I feel my Fit needs more mph in second. Had a talk with my competitors (friends) and co-driver to see what speeds the Fit should be able to do in second. They are saying around 60-65 is best that way you don't have to get in 3rd losing speed or movement.

Goi g by my tire size (205/50R15) and gear ratio the Fit is good for 58mph at 6800 rpm. If I bump up my rev limiter to 7500 rpm I'll be good for 64 mph. I was curious what ours are getting or having issues with this.

lets talk about useful speeds. almost all cars have little acceleration at the redline simply because the engine has passed peak power and is dropping in power. so a useful autocrossing vehicle needs a rpm occuring at power peak rather than redline as the rpm used in the calculation of the maximum speed in that gear. in other words the speed tats useful.
tho I haven't a/xed in decades my a/xers here say you need to short shift from second to third about 5500 rpm and that sounds right.last time I a/xed it was in my vette and rpm never got over 4000. in a/xing its torque that matters more than horsepower. simply getting to redline never amounted to much. now if you're out of room to accelerate holding in gear is right.
