got it
the first LX 2015 sold by SF Honda. Very happy with it so far. no major driving yet but my observations:
love the color. checked the paint carefully and everything looked great.
had a moment of hesitation at dealer about whether i wanted an EX - the moon roof was cool, but I've never had one and it's not likely something I'd miss.
I really love the bluetooth, the backup camera, and the seat comfort. so much better than the 2013 that i rented for a few days. That seat had too much lumbar that pushed my back out of whack. new seats are not luxury but comfortable, and the height adjustment helps too.
The only quirks - i don't like that there is a little funhouse mirror on the drivers side rear view. It's easy to ignore as it's on the end of the mirror but it distorts, rather than helps. and the center console while useful for storage is too low for an arm rest but as long as i can rest my left arm on the door handle, i'm happy.
the car is really great. i paid MSRP, no deals being offered but no add ons and no jacking up the price. got them to throw in the cargo cover, which hasn't even arrived as they still don't have the accessories for the 2015s. debating about whether i will put in a true alarm as the anti-theft system is good but not as good as a true alarm (having just had my honda civic stolen two months ago, i wish it had been alarmed, but then again, i might not be driving a Fit now).
happy to answer questions - though i've only put about 25 miles on (it had 25 when I bought it).

From your observations so far, others owners have likewise came to the same conclusion with that center armrest. Too low and nearly useless. Nonetheless, something that we all can live with and get used too. For now, its looking like the benefits outweigh the shortcomings.
Now, you have to post pics, and, as you drive more, fill us in on your growing impressions. Happy driving!!!
Our son #3 lives and works in SF (Folsom St.). Visit him at least 2x's a year. In Sept., if I go there again, will drive his Bm'r ('04 M3) to meet up the with SF Fit group, hopefully. Those guys know how their mods extremely well.

My right elbow rests nicely on the driver arm rest. I wouldn't want to do without that ability. Is the center console actually lower than the previous arm rest? And also, is it wide enough to accommodate the passengers left elbow?

You'd think a cargo cover would be standard on these things--strange that Honda would cheap out on something so basic. (But great that you got your dealer to include it in the price!)
What's the stereo system like? The LX has a four-speaker, 160-watt setup, correct? I wounder how it sounds vs. the system in the EX--though I understand that might be difficult to answer unless you bought one of each.
