First Smashed 2015??

OMG. I think someone forgot to lower the ramps before driving the car off of the truck. Either that, or somebody had a very bad test drive. Have a look:

First of all, am sure you all join me is saying that, if in fact it was an accident, who cares about the car. As long as no one got injured, this material item can be easily replaced.

Here's what's gonna happen. It looks unregistered and if so, the dealership will have more than enough insurance to cover the cost. Car get surrendered to the insurance co. (looks like a write-off). Insurance co. auctions it off to a wrecker for $3,000. The wrecker fixes it (now titled: salvaged) and puts it up for auction again. The same dealer buys it back for $8,000 and puts it on his used car lot with the banner:
2015 Honda Fit - DOOR Buster!!! Now only $13,999, Never titled, Minor cosmetic damage, Very low mileage!!!

With the words "2015 Honda Fit" printed on the side it almost makes me think it was some sort of crash test car. Which reminds me I am eagerly awaiting the new crash test results from the IIHS.

Regardless...RIP Young Fit, you were gone before your time

That is clearly a rollover wreck. But the fact that the side curtain Airbags did not blow means it probably wasn't being driven. Perhaps the transporter rolled.

You hit the nail on the head....

The Craigslist ad lists a website for the salvage yard.... Looking at their website's new inventory, they have TWO 2015 Fits.... Here is a link to their detail page of the other car... It has Insurance test labeling on the door..

what's more insulting is that even the birds took a couple pot shots at the rear quarter panel on the passenger's side.

IIHS Test Scores for 2015 Fit

The IIHS does not have scores available yet. I have asked about it and they tell me that they will notify me once they are available, so I can share with the FF group.

My family is hoping that Honda has overcome the one shortcoming in the previous generation's crash test results, to spur on our purchase.

Dang, beat me to it!

Looks like it was subjected to some sort of roof drop test as there is no collision damage or pavement scuffs on the sides.
