CVT or 6MT Canada
Dealership wants to make an order for my Honda Fit 2015 and debating between 6MT or CVT but want to test drive first but unable to because they wont have a test car for awhile. Anyone know if the Honda Civic CVT 2014 would be a good comparison to the Honda Fit CVT?
Thanks

have not got in that detail with the sales guy. Just got an email asking which features I was looking for so they could try and order one.
Other then what was mention above i heard the 2015 FITs in Canada will have auto climate control. I have emailed the Sales guy asking if he can confirm that.
Thanks

That's a tough call.
I have read some reviews which say the car is more fun to drive will a manual, so for me kind of a no brainer, would you rally sit back and relax or do you want to be more involved in the driving experience.
You last 3 or 4 cars that you have owned in the past how many were manual to auto, that might help in ?
If it was me I would wait a little and test drive both because once you drive off the lot things change
Good luck !

i suppose if you LIKE driving cars, then get the MT...but considering people use this car as dd's, i recommend you check how heavy the clutch pedal is.
it may become a nusance if the pedal is heavy.

So Canada will be getting EX-L NAV M/T 2015 fits?
that's sunroof and leather and stick shift!
ahh there is a god
Hope that's also offered in the HRV when I comes out
2009 lx 5speed owner here...looking at his future options

I've read in a review that the 6 speed MT has really close gears and the 6th on it is actually like the 5th on the previous Fit. And IMO it was one of it's biggest flaws and they didn't fix it (they just made the already close gears closer), it hurts the fuel economy versus the A/T version and it's noisier at highway speeds. I guess they made it so people don't complain about the lack of torque but that's plain stupid (and these people should simply buy the A/T or CVT), I won't buy a Fit if this issue isn't adressed. So I would say don't get the MT if what the review says, but don't get the CVT because they really suck. So get something else.
