Gas mileage

I've only put 100 miles on the car, and it's all stop and go urban traffic. On the other hand, I drive like Grandpa and have the Econ button on.

So far I'm reading 24.3 mpg while all the rest of you seem to be getting 30+. Is this fault number two (the sensor for the passenger airbag is reading off even though a 150 lb. adult is there)?

Hmmm interesting. I would fill up and calculate based on actual miles traveled and fuel used to see if the computer is faulty

What year is the car? So its brand new? My car didnt start getting good mileage till a few hundred miles when it was brand new (2012) so give it time.

Don't know how accurate the dash indicator is, since I haven't filled up yet. But..in town, it shows 42 mpg. On the highway, around 46. I know the 09's had a problem with the program, and it over estimated by about 15%. Honda issued a fix for that. My '10 was dead on

I found the with the first tank, the CPU was waaaaay off. Only on the second tank now so I don't know how long it takes to become accurate.

Thanks. My instincts told me to give it some time and that's what I'll do.

But definitely report back here once you fill up and get a more accurate calculation.

Mine seems to be very odd too. Let us know if it fixes itself!
