I hope that is the case as I am actively shopping for new wheels and tires for my LX! Spoke to a buddy at work about this - he used to be a Dodge/Chrysler mechanic - and he concurs. Said he was familiar with this TPMS and described its' function in much the same way as BigBadVooDoo did earlier in this thread

The 2007 honda fit did not come with TPMS, however the 2008 honda fit did. The 2009 to 2013 honda fits also have the sensors inside the wheels. In the new 2015 fits honda has taken out the TPMS sensors in the wheels. The way to rest the light is to turn on the car to the on position, then hold the button down for a couple seconds until the low tire light will flash 2 times.

That's been my experience with other cars, but I think Honda likes to get it's owners "more involved."
