Shop/Service Manuals
I realize they're all digital now, but does anyone know of a way to get a Shop Manual for the Fit without first getting a new credit card?
When I got a Cube in 2009, I paid over $100 for the manual on disc. Then I saw it posted for free on a Cube forum.

When I bought my xB I managed to find the manuals online. I even printed them out and they take up about a foot of shelf space. I have used them occasionally, but I've actually found better information on the owner's forums when it came down to taking things apart and reassembling them.
Be very wary of sites promising free manuals. I accessed a site that is linked in the .sig line of a FF member and it dropped a nasty bit of malware into my iPad browser that assumed that I had opted into a directed advertising scheme. Not cool.
Another approach is to pay a fee for temporary access, then download everything to your hard drive. That can be a bit tedious, but if it's a slow day at work...

Service Manual
OP is looking for service manual (Me too!!!) so we know how to take the Fit apart and put it back together again. Forums like this are great for How-To's on replacing CV's and changing brake pads but with the GK being so new us members haven't needed to do much service work yet.

I saw it listed somewhere, and they offered several sections, like electrical, engine, body, etc. Getting everything would cost hundreds. I'll see if I can find that site again.

You can subscribe to ServiceExpress on techinfo.honda.com. It's not free unfortunately ($10/day or $50/month or $350/year) but you can download the info and save it locally. The printed manuals should hopefully be out in a few months.

Thanks. Here used to be a similar one that was less expensive. Can't recall the name just now. You could buy a disc for your car, or you could subscribe, for a lot mor money.
