Triple 12 Volt Outlets

I found the perfect way to power three 12 volt devices. I bought a triple 12 volt outlet at Radio Shack for $20. It comes with both a plug-in connector and a wire with a fuse. I'll tap into the wire for the 12v outlet and tuck the triple outlet under the dash. I have an XM radio, GPS, and dashcam that I'll plug into it. I'm pretty sure the XM radio wants to use the plug that came with it, rather than just running off 12 volts. Unless they've changed since Roady days, the radio runs on 6 volts, and the plug does the reduction from 12 to 6 volts. It appears that the center outlet will light up when it has power.

Will do. I'm putting up gutters and cleaning out the garage at the same time, so everything is taking longer than it should. When it comes to projects on a car, I like to take my time and think it through.
