um.....wtf

Ok, I got eberything installed, but my new radio won;t remember the presets. In other words, you save stations, turn the car off and back on and they're gone. I'm having a brain fart here....what am I missing?

sounds like your 12v constant(battery+) and acc(key on) wires are backwards switch them and you should be set

You blew the fuse for your constant wire (+12V memory) Check your fuses in the fuse box under the hood..not the one in the car.

I pulled the radio out and checked the wiring and everything looks fine. I'll check the fuses next. The presets for the radio and Sirius are stored on the radio right? I'm asking because my Sirius is wiried to the accessory socket (since I never use it) and I know it doesn't get constant power. The factory radio had three connectors on the back, could my constant be on one of those instead of the yellow I'm using?

if you bought a wire harness for your car, the yellow wire would be the correct one. If your sirius unit is the alpine one then it needs constant power to operate properly. Your aloine head unit turns it on and off when you select it as a source. If it's an aftermarket portable one then it should be hooked to ACC

The sirius seems to be working fine, aside from the memory loss problem. The fuses under the hood and in the car look fine. So basically you'rer saying the sirius and HD have nothing to do with the memory being lost on the radio right?
