remote starter?

Is it possible to have a remote starter installed in the Fit - and if so, what's the best (least-expensive) option? My dealer brushed it off as "something like $400 - $500", but I'm assuming there are 3rd party options.

I'm referring to the ability to start your car in the winter from inside the house.

Edit: I have 2015 LX CVT.

I had one in my old Fit and loved it. I have someone in Southern NH that installed mine- he did great work and it was like 200 or 250 with two remotes.

Honda does offer a OEM starter for the Fit as long as it's a CVT. couple of quirks. Remote unlocking is disabled if the car is running. You can not set the alarm to open all doors when unlock is pressed on remote. It will cause alarm to set off repeatedly when parked.
There are aftermarket kits available as well.

I had a remote car starter installed in my 2015 Fit EX CVT by the dealer. It cost $369. It just so happens I got $300 off the price of the car with a coupon I got off the dealer's website for scheduling a test drive. So for me it was like getting the remote starter for free!

Remote unlocking is NOT disabled when running. On EX and EX-L, grabbing the door handle will still unlock the car as normal, even when running. You can also use the remote to unlock the doors while its running.

Apologize as its in wrong order. quirks are for the aftermarket one (or at least the one that our accessory dept installs).
