And yes.. it does work in reverse!!!!

Only downside.. wish it worked all the time..not just on the steeper stuff..

Lest you think this is something new, the other night I met a gentleman who owns a 1950 Studebaker Champion, and he told me his 1950 Studebaker also has "hill hold".

Dang, I've driven a stick for about 35 years and never learned the hand brake technique. Anyway, somehow I survived. I do like the hill assist.

The first time hill assist activated, it took me by surprise. I find it works on steeper inclines. But to be honest with you, I don't need this feature. I have that handbrake ready!

So do I. Used the handbrake technique for 36 years, still glad to have "hill assist".
