Thumbs down Dealership did a bad job on the tint.

The dealership did the tint on my new 2015 fit and the rear window shows small little bubbles already. The bubbles are at the top most and are about the size of 0.05-1mm.

How long ago was the tint job done? The guy that did our tint told us we might see some imperfections initially, but that once the sun had a chance to heat the window a few times, it would disappear. If not, he told us to bring it back and he would re-do it.

I had a few bubbles initially but a few days left in the sun took care of them. Had mine done at local tint shop with good reputation, not by dealer. If they remain after four days, take it back for a redo.

This should be warrantied by the dealer - but as others have stated, will generally go away after a few days.

The guys who posted "to wait" have a good point. They usually go away.

To speed up the process, here's a suggestion. Get a hairdryer and blower the bubbles to the top edge. Use a microfiber rag to help push the bubbles up. Better yet, if you have a smooth plastic tool handy, that would even be better.

Let us know how it comes out.

BTW, you gotta post pics so we can see your new GK!!!

I had limo tint as part of my sale. I got the car the next day with the rear windows tinted and it had bubbles. I took it back right away and they told me that it takes a few days, I told them that it would be fine with me as long as they gave me a rental for a few days as well. They re-tinted it properly within a few hours. Just take it back and don't leave until you are satisfied.
