Solution to Uncomfortable seats
#3
The Fit is perfect for me, but not so much for my 4' 10" wife, who also thinks the seats are too hard.
Rather than adjust the seat up and down (which isn't possible in our truck), she uses a one-inch thick cushion like this one. It lets her use the drivers seat at less than full height (set as high as I can use it) and it solves her comfort problem. She's driven the truck for twelve years with a cushion and the adjustable pedals all the way up, and without the latter in the Fit, we'll have to do some seat sliding.
She also complains the Fit's headrests push her head forward and down, putting pressure on her skull, so we've got this on order. She can use it on the passenger seat when I'm driving.

I had this same problem, the headrests are reversible though, and that solved it for me.

I've got this type on my 2006 Civic. I admit, it's not terribly comfortable, but having a traction device at home, which I used almost daily for about 20 years (and wish I could find it again), I can testify to the amount of damage you can do to your neck if it is not properly supported.
