If you cancel they will cut you a check and send it to you. it will also be prorated by how much time you have left on the extended warranty. So you can cancel it anytime but the longer you hold it the lower your check will be. I also bought an extended warranty but only got it on major systems. Electrical, mechanical, etc. One thing goes wrong and it pays for itself.
