are these factory wheels clear-coated or bare aluminum?

Need to do some machine polishing on them.

 

the faces of the spokes appear to be machined. They get grimy awful fast.

 

Nearly every alloy wheel that shows its metallic color is clear-coated. Otherwise they start corroding pretty quickly, particularly in areas where they have been machined like the faces of factory alloys.

 

Was told by a Honda Dealership detailer this morning that the 10 machined alloy spokes are clear-coated. The 5 charcoal grey recessed spokes are also clear-coated.


So will use a chemical cleanser or a very light finishing polish to cleanup some stains on the alloy wheels.
