This is week number 7 waiting for the Modern Steel Metallic EX to come in. Every few days the delivery date changes. Glad to have found this forum so I know it's not a bunch of bull. Called all the nearby dealers to try and find the same one but no luck. Hopefully it will come in any day.

 

I hear you. I've completely given up on the idea of trading my '09 for a '15. In my neck of the woods the car is complete "vaporware". I guess I'll be driving the '09 for another year or two.

I decided i wanted this car on a friday, i found one that night 150 miles away and picked it up saturday. my local honda dealer has yet to get a 6mt fit...

 

I'm glad it worked out for you. The model I want is not within 150 miles from me, I checked today.

 

you want a cvt of 6mt? i found 140 fits within a 200 mile radius of newfield.

 

CVT. what I'm finding is even though on a dealer website it may say they have a certain model, it may not be on the lot. On line I found a couple that I wanted but calling the dealer I found they had not gotten them in yet, even though the site listed them as being there. My local dealer looked last week at the computer and it listed my Fit as arrived at dealer. They had not and still haven't seen it yet.

 

I'm hearing the same thing in central NY. Dealer told me today that my Fit shows that it's been in their inventory for eight days. It of course is not there. They're "expecting" it, but do not have a concrete exact date. My (legitimate) Vin number is in the 32,000's and I'm seeing some of those numbers showing up now in this forum. Do you have a Vin number? And does it really matter? ;-)

 

Mine arrived late last night at the dealer and I was able to pick it up today!! I did have a VIN number since September. My last 5 are in the 27000's. Put the first 100 miles on tonight. So far I'm liking it a lot.
