Shifting between D and S

OK, this may be a stupid question but since the owners manual is silent on this point, I'm wondering if it's OK to shift between D and S1 when the car is moving. Call me cautious but if anyone has experience, good or bad, with doing this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Our Fits use transmission shift by wire so it's tied directly to the onboard control module. So if you try throwing it in reverse while going forward at high speeds it won't let you do it. Or do anything to harm the transmission so you're good.

Yep! During parking I noticed it delays the shift if your coasting to fast.
