Considering a Fit after a 2002 Acura 1.7 EL
My beloved 2002 Acura 1.7 EL (the Canadian Honda Civic in a tuxedo) needs a new clutch and I'm considering selling it after getting it repaired for cheap to cut my losses ...
But I just bought winters and all-season tires for it this past year, and I was wondering if they could be used on the new fit?
The EL had 185 65/15 tires.
Also, my previous car was as you can tell by the clutch failure, a manual car, and I would prefer to get that over the CVT. Would anyone caution me against that?
Thanks,

The tires will fit, they're less than 2cm larger in diameter than stock.
OTOH, how is that Acura running? If everything is working well you might as well get some use out of your new clutch. If it is nickel-and-dimeing it might be time to move on. First year of a new car is always a crapshoot so you'd be better off coming on board next year.
Nothing wrong with the 6-speed except you have to shift a lot. The top gear isn't taller than the old 5-speed so expect 3000-4000RPM cruise.
