Looking for Smartphone App

I'd like to get an app, preferably free, that connects via Bluetooth to an OBD II transmitter, which I already have. I'd like to be able to see engine stats, especially temperature, since the Fit doesn't have a temperature gauge. I could use my GPS, but I'd rather be able to use a cell phone.

Outside, yes; engine coolant, no.

From what I have seen most of the Apple apps are designed to work with Wi-Fi OBD transmitters.... and some are OBD II transmitter specific. You may want to look up your OBD II transmitter to see if it supports any specific apps or if the company that makes it offers one...

I downloaded OBDLink and AutoProLite. I'll see how they work.

Torque

I've been using Torque and it works great. Haven't used it yet on my wife's FIT but I've used it with several other vehicles just fine with my Bluetooth ODBII reader.

Thanks. I'll take a look.

I just realized that the unit I have attached to the OBD port is for the GPS, and I doubt that would work with a different app. I'll give it a try, though.

I also use the Torque app on my Android phone paired with this

Amazon.com: Latest Version V1.5 Super mini elm 327 Bluetooth OBDii / OBD2 Wireless Mini elm327 Works on Android Torque: Automotive Amazon.com: Latest Version V1.5 Super mini elm 327 Bluetooth OBDii / OBD2 Wireless Mini elm327 Works on Android Torque: Automotive

Works pretty well.

Also, do not load the CD that comes with it. For some reason it was loaded with a Trojan to download porn??
