Add On Service Contract - Extended Warranty
Same here.
It happens. It was late in the evening, my three year old was beyond tired, it was snowing and we were ready to get home. You have a time period to cancel it and get every dime back. I didn't feel that it was necessary to read every line that night considering the circumstances.
That said, we can get our money back on the "Extended Warranty" if we cancel within 30 days. Cancel later and the amount is prorated. If we couldn't cancel, we never would have signed up. I'm trying to compare options now while we have the option to cancel without penalty. The car repair savings account has a lot of appeal, but I want to see other options while my car is new. Extended warranties or service contracts will cost the least while the car is new.
Plus with the new 2015 Fit, the car has been totally redesigned, has lots of new electronic gadgets, and was made in a brand new factory, so there is zero track record for reliability other than it's Honda (and even they make some bad ones occasionally, though hopefully NOT this one).
I'm totally get where you're coming from, wyyup. Late, tired, they gave a pretty good deal...
