In what universe we have LED headlamps as standard from Honda?

I've been a licensed driver for over 25 years, managing just fine before push-button start. I've never been in an accident or received a ticket. Before I was given a driver's permit as a teen I had an evaluation to see what mods or special equipment I needed to drive, if any. I have a steering knob and the restriction that I can only have automatic transmission vehicles.

I'm actually *highly* offended at the suggestion that disabled persons shouldn't be allowed to drive.

Apologies to everyone.

You do know that people (usually) have more than one hand?

Am I supposed to apologize to those old farts who can barely see and still allowed to drive as well?

I have no idea what that has to do with the fact that you said I shouldn't drive because of issues with my hand.

I don't know the laws where you live, but to get a license and to renew it eye exams are required here.

I am sorry about questioning your ability to drive as a right-handed disable. Guess it doesn't matter as long as the turn signal is on the leftside. (Provided that it actually gets used)

The grippy feel of the transmission stick.
The left hand cup holder!
The 3 second signal.
Having a back windscreen wiper.
The magic seats.
Being able to lock/unlock my car with the key fob.
Seeing that green color!
The door locking automatically when I go over 10 mph.
As someone said before, peace of mind!

I could go on and on, this is my first new car ever - upgrading from a lemon 02 civic. So your basic amenities are new to me :S

Does this only work on the EX models with Smart Entry/Push Button Start? I have a Canadian EX with a good ol' key.

Your experience with new technology sounds like mine (also my first); like finding out that sliding boards can now give back rubs!

I didn't even know about this one, and discovered it by chance the other day.

No more juggling clutch, foot brake, gas and hand brake starting on a hill!

I first saw mention of this feature in Redd's "Fit feature of choice" comment, and having been driving with it since August, re-opened the book to check it out. Stopped on an incline behind an un-loading school bus this afternoon and by yimminy, will not have to drive to San Francisco to try the 'hill brake assist' out!

What I like

The magic seat! I've used that feature more than I imagined I would. For the price of 18,000 I got an EX, loaded with features. I think the car is an incredible bargain. I have the manual. I so wish Honda had geared 6th for relaxed highway cruising. That said, the manual is great and I never miss a shift, as expected from a Honda. The only thing is the gearing that makes me wish I had bought the CVT. As othes say, the hill hold is great. My Fiat 500 had that too and I got used to it very quickly. I do wish for more sound insulation. Highway speeds is a bit loud. But it is only an 18,000 car so I don't expect an Accord. The car is very useful, as advertised. The styling is good for a small car, So that's it ....

I love the Huge inside. People always ask "Are you going to be able to fit everything"? I just tell them, my Fit is like a tent in Harry Potter. Small on the outside, Huge on the inside.

My favorite feature is the cruise control and the power windows and locks. It's the first car that my wife and I have owned that has cruise control and/or power windows.
