Just Ordered A 2015 EX Red Manual Fit.
Hi Fit Freaks. Chitown Fit here. Just ordered a 2015 EX Red Fit with a Manual Trans. Getting the accessories installed. I should be behind the wheel by next week. This is my very first brand new car. The last car I owned was a 1998 Saturn SC2. It was rear ended on the highway about two weeks ago. Been lurking every now and then. But now since I'm getting a Fit I can officially joined the Fit Freaks.

Your new red fit
Let us know how you like it when you get rolling. I have the purple EX manual and love it. Just did my first oil change at 5000 miles. The more I drive it the more I like mine. Enjoy That slick shifting 6 speed.

Welcome. I'm a new Red Fit owner, but my Fit is CVT. We have a lot of stop and go traffic around here, and manual becomes a lot less fun with that stuff.
My previous car was a 2002 Saturn SC2. It was the most reliable car I've owned. I loved the polymer doors and panels, and I loved my sunroof. I was also rear ended about a year ago. Not badly, so I chose to fix it and keep it rolling. It has had more problems since then (intake manifold, water pump, battery etc.) -- probably normal issues for a car with 150,000ish miles. But we were ready for a new car at this point.
Hoping the Fit will be just as reliable. I love the safety features in the Fit Ex -- rear camera, lane watch camera, etc. And I'm really enjoying the bluetooth for music and phone. Plus it's a lot of fun to drive (more fun with ECON button off)! I like that I sit up higher in the Fit than in my SC2, but not too high and the Fit is super easy to park.
Enjoy!

In the meantime, I learned a ton from all the GD/GE owners. Was able to shop (excessively, according to the wife) and plan out what I wanted "my" GK to be.
The wait was worth it all, as well as joining FF, which remains a forum which expands camaraderie and shares the knowledge.
CVT, Manual, Auto, GD, GE, GK - they all have one thing in common. They're all FITS!!! Check out the thread where one of our fellow GK owners (HARRYHOUDINI) has close to 40k and its going on strong!!! Am confident the majority of us will experience the same.

Ha! I got mine in November and I'm at 1,500 miles. I have a Honda motorcycle that I ride a lot as well. Brilliant choice in color though, Passion Berry Pearl is just gorgeous.

I'm just closing in on 4000 miles on my White Orchid Pearl EX MT I bought in mid March. At 63, I'm totally enjoying driving this car. Just today I was "racing" it from light to light on the parkway. Lots of fun-makes me feel like a kid again!
Welcome to FitFreak. Hope you have as much fun with your car as I do with mine.
