Remote Turn On Lead
Remote Turn On Lead
Hi Guys .. I am hooking up an Alpine ktp-445u
I have the speakers to the Red/Green Black/White Pink/Blue and Grey/Purple, the Ground to the Black and Hot to the Green. Which one is the Remote power on? I tried a splice on the light blue, purple and brown but none worked. Am I missing something? Is my splice too big and not working?
Thanks!!!

not wise at all unless u have alot of experience doing that. using a wire harness color codes everything so u don't have to "figure out" each of the oem wires... not to mention you're hacking up the oem wire harness. anyway its your car.
Setting the micro amp to speaker output rather than rca, makes the Remote Turn On Lead unnecessary. Grounded to the screw behind the HU to the right, using a bolt. Patched to Green Hot wire and all is good. Sounds great with Polk DB651s .. best $230 upgrade to the stereo, I could have hoped for!
