My clock/media player in the center shows only the "clock" setting as default and no matter how many times I switch the option to go back to showing the music info, it just won't take it.

I can get the music info to display if I start pressing buttons, but by default it's just the clock. I want to know if there's a way to hard reset the device to the defaults?

 

You can set the display to show the most recently displayed screen. It's an option in your settings. That way if you had the music screen up the last time you were in the car, it will go back to your music options next time you start up.
