Honda sell 15" rims for 3rd gen FIT LX?

Hi, new to the forum. Thinking of purchasing a FIT LX, but I'd rather put winters on the stock steel rims, and then put the stock tires on 15 inch alloys. On Honda's site, I only see 16" rims officially available for the 3rd gen FIT. Does one need to go other vendors to get 15" alloys or does one just buy other Honda rims (Civic?)?

Thanks

I have (used) 15" Civic rims from a 2003 that I bought from a junkyard for $32.50 each. They have 45 mm offset rather than the stock 50 mm offset and look and work fine with my snow tires.

if you want official steel wheel that comes with the 2015 LX, part number is 42700-T5R-A01. Its $175 a wheel. You are better off waiting til someone here upgrades their steelies or someone in Ebay sells em. I got mine for $50.

funny i was looking through Toronto craigslist and goddamn they want 400-500 per set. Guess its a premium over there when people actually use Winter wheels.

yeah, we need our steelies...thanks for the info.

Do you know if the JDM Fit has the same wheel bore (56.1mm I think) as the North American fit? Oddly enough, Honda sells two alloys that are 15 inches in Japan, but none officially in North America...(although the used Civic route may work...).

thanks again

The Civic steel wheels I mentioned are identical in every way to the stock 15" LX wheels except for 5 mm difference in offset. Mounted on the car, you can't see any difference. I could only observe the 5 mm difference when I mounted them on my spin balancer and measured it (0.2" on this US-built machine). And they're cheap and plentiful, at least here in the US.
