Bent Knuckle ? Need help
Bent Knuckle ? Need help
Can someone take a measurement for their knuckle and compare to my measurement in the pictures to see if mine is within spec? My car is less then a month old maybe it it a pot hole but now i have to hold the steering wheel slightly to the left for the car to stay straight. Tried to bring it into a dealer for service but tech keep saying my car is within spec base on their alignment. Thanks in advance.

That measurement isn't going to help much. If the car is pulling to one side or the other it is up to the dealer to sort out what is wrong. It might be alignment, it might be tires, but it's their problem until it is fixed.
I wish it was that simple. Went to the dealer serveral time. First time they performed an alignment telling me rear beam is bent there for it need to be replace, i said sure why not since its on their dime (but in my head i know that wasnt going to fix the issue) but who am i to argue with honda certified tech. Sure enough problem still the same after rear beam replaced. Took the car to another dealer ship they also performed alignment, but problem still persist so they "adjust" the alignment again, this time they over adjust and the steering wheel have have to be slightly to the right for the car to go straight. This is not an alignment issue. I just need to convince the dealer that. At this point i give up going to the dealer wasted too much time just to be told the car is within spec, i know im splitting hair here but when you drive an average of 200 to 300 miles a day for work a slightly crooked steering wheel will drive you crazy. But because it "slightly" crooked dealer just consider it still within spec. Now before everyone call me crazy, i know for a fact that this did not happen when i took deliver of the car.
