I got a 2015 Fit EX White Orchid for an OTD price of 20,100.
I came in with a 20,120 budget. They didn't know that. I kept pushing for 20,000 flat. I used my OTD quotes from other dealerships which were like 19,700, 21k, 20,500, and so on, and they offered to come down to me 20,400. I wouldn't budge, so they brought out their manager and offered up 20,200. I still wouldn't budge, and they wouldn't remove the 699 dollar "Protection package". from the car just to bring it down to under 20k. I counter offered 20,100 flat OTD, and they said okay, and we shook hands.
Had my own financing as well.
Did I get a good deal? 20,100 OTD, with San Jose tax being 8.75%.
I ran it on Truecar, and they say a price of 18,883 is good, but that doesn't take into account tax and DMV fees. Tax alone brings it to 20,535.
Anyone else from the San Jose, CA area or general Bay Area that can give me their OTD price for their Fit EX?

*I would imagine they left the highly inflated $699.00 Protection Package in the deal- right?
*Usually anytime you can get an OTD price close to or under the MSRP of a car- you received a fair/good deal. Main thing- they had the car in stock that you wanted- and like most shoppers- you get tired of negotiating via email or in person- at some point.
*Lastly, I know that after a manager came out and granted it was under your budget- but you wanted and even $20K OTD- and Yes- you agreed to $20,100.00 OTD- if you walked out the door and even if they didn't stop you- whether later today or tomorrow- someone from the dealership would've called and said- if you can come in today- we'll accept the $20K OTD- especially since- most manufacturers (automobile) calendar year ends in March.
A good price is a personal thing and is also related to what the marketplace will bear at the time of purchase.
A few years ago I had a car lined up, had seen what people were paying. By the time I went in to purchase the price had gone up on the car as to what people were willing to pay. I however wanted the older price. The dealer would not budge. He knew he could get what he was asking.
I was just out of luck and could not get that car at the price I wanted.
Moral of the story be happy with your decision to either buy or not buy. You are the master of your destiny. Buyer's remorse is for weak willed fools.

I wanted this car so bad and I needed it June 28. They managed to deliver, and I overpaid. $22,500 out the door in FL for a red EX CVT. They made it happen for me so I paid for being cared for. Had it been while BMW 135i was still available to spec I would have bought one. But this was my retirement present and only new would do. So I saved $25K!
