Hi guys, have any of you had an issue in the last week or so, where if you're connecting navi through the Honda Link app, that it's not showing up on your screen?

I have turned off and turned back on my car, turned off and turned back on the unit and nothing will solve it.

I haven't had the adapter for too long so I'm not sure that it would have already gone out. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

Obviously when it's not connected to the unit and is displaying the navi on my phone, it shows up.

Voice commands still work.

Appreciate any suggestions.

 

Yes, same as mine too. It is happen when you disconnect the connection without closing the app on ph first. I return the adapter and ask refund for the app because of GPS on map is so slow and did't work well. I prefer my iPhone for GPS and bought air vent ph mount. Only I wish is Honda give us an option to use HDMI while driving so I can use my off line map app from iPhone.

 

you need to force all the Honda link apps on your phone to close before connecting. If they are running on the phone before you plug in the adapter it will do what you are describing.

 

Is that new? I've been doing this the same way since I bought the car last September.

I think it's something else because I force quit the apps on my phone and plugged it in before I restarted them and I was still getting the black screen. Only thing that shows up is the clock.
