I was installing the car seat this weekend and came across the flat tire tool kit. It looks like I am missing something. Please help!

Nothing as long as the spare tire is underneath.... mine is the same way.


I guess they think you can store additional stuff in there if you want.

 

We don't have the cargo tray and have used that area for storage on occasion for security.

 

It's also a handy little place for my jumper cables and a few extra tools.

Here's what you're missing...

 

You just gave me some ideas that I should have in there too. I already have a smart portable air pump for my air shocks and inflating the tires, pressure gauge, & gloves. Long road trips I usually bring my jumper box but never leave it in there all the time.

P.S. Yes I miss the hidden under back seat compartment of the 2nd gen.

 

That's where I keep the owner's manual and the first aid kit. Also my flashlight.

 

What are you missing? I don't get it.
