I have posted about the same exact issue.. ive tried troubleshooting the problem myself before i took it to the dealer.. changed the battery to the bigger 51R, change spark plugs, changed coils, changed injectors, changed sensor at negative battery terminal.. those did nothing.. took it to Honda they replaced my alternator, problem came back intermitently after a week, and now the error comes up after every start up.. took the car back to honda and they want to charge me $1200 for a engine wiring harness replacement that they said WILL fix the problem... hesitant to do that so before i either give up and sell the car or cough up the $$$ for the harness replacement, gonna check all my earth grounds... hope u get thru your issue buddy!

I cannot say it enough - excellent grounding points are critical. make sure to clean the area well, dielectric grease everything, and torque them back. I've made money buying older motorcycles and using that trick (among others like carb cleaning, gas filter install, fuse cleaning/replace, and internal tank restoration) to bring them back to life.

MC are especially prone to developing bad ground (earthing) points over time. (My Mazda RX-7 and -8 were notoriously fickle with suspect grounding points).

This is a old thread that got rebooted, but I've heard a lot of issues come from the battery being too close to the ecu... Not sure if that's true...

It shouldn't be if the correct battery was installed - those longer batteries will affect EMF (near the ECU) and air circulation.

Fwiw, mine did this twice a few years ago. Started the car and ALL the warning lights went on. Shut it off and restarted after a sec and everything was fine. Happened again a few weeks later. Shut it off again and restarted, everything was fine. Hasn't happened again since then.
