I believe that the manual says that the alarm goes off if there is force used to open the doors?

So there isn't a 'normal' alarm? Such as if the door is left opened the alarm goes off if the key isn't put into the starter.

Would someone care to explain what entails the built in alarm system in the Fit?

I can't speak to the alarm but the EX has an immobilizer. If the key is not in the car, it stops in 100 feet or so. I've seen it done on mine.
