What do the abbreviations GD, GE, GK mean? I see them often in this forum.

There appears to have been a change in encoding EX into the '16 model codes. I'm seeing GK5H7GJW as a '16 EX CVT. Note 7 not 8.

Also, anybody know if the last three digits in a model code, i.e., GJW, mean anything to anyone? And what's the decoder ring if they do?
