Kamispeed had then in sick last week. They were great to deal with.

 

So is this a full catback? Looks small more like an axle back. Looking to get me one.

Do they make catbacks for our cars?

 

Not that I'm aware of, I think you'd have to go custom for a full cat back. I personally was just going for more of an aggressive tone versus a performance boost.

 

How does the car drive with the new exhaust? Noticeably sportier?

 

I haven't really noticed any performance boost, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I just wanted a sportier exhaust note. It's an axle back exhaust so I don't expect any improvement and if there is, it'd be negligible out of a 1.5L engine.

It should work with a CVT,I have one installed on mine.

 

Got mine from Kamispeed. Literally took more time to get the car on jackstands than to swap exhaust. In the rust belt, be sure to use anti-seize on bolts. That's about it.

On HKS official website, they also say it will not suit CVT.
This is because when they apply the noise certification for the muffler, they only did it with a manual transmission GK5. Hence they can not advertise the product will suit CVT.
From my experience, it will fit CVT car without any issue.
