Eliminate start up warning

Is there a way for me or my dealer to eliminate this start up warning?

I know it's been discussed here before, but I don't think anybody's figured it out yet.

Reminds me of the warning label Honda used to put on the gas tanks of their dirt bikes many years ago that said: "Remember, always wear a helmet, preserve nature, think safety."

I used to tell my mom, "If you want me, I'll be in the woods, 'preserving nature.'"

Just don't look at the screen for about 30-60 seconds and it won't be there...

There is a guy on here I've been in contact with who's designing a data "sniffer" to see where the functions of the HU are. I'd be willing to bet that the warning message you see is in the flash memory. Could very well be hard coded onto the chip they use too in which case it cannot be rid of without changing the chip.

It usually goes away within 10 for me. Idk if Navi models force you to acknowledge it or not, but it will go away. Doesn't speed up the system at all if you click it either.

if you leave it alone it switches to clock view for me, but then I have to press the back button, then press ok to use any of the touch functions. I am constantly listening to podcast so this is a must...and annoying.

if I do nothing it will automatically switch to the last function I was using (usually "audio" for me), so I just ignore it.
