Thank you very much Press Fit!
Good catch; but that doesn't explain it. I used the correct weight. The 0-30W in my OP was a typo. I have corrected it.
I suppose there could be one other explanation. I did the oil change in the early part of June; which is the start of the hottest part of our Georgia summer. In theory, I guess the AC could be putting a heavier load on the engine.

Hello all.
Reading all your post made me think.
Is it better to change my oil by myself(Honda dealer does not put synthetic) and how often do i need to change my oil if my car doesn't have the computer that tells me when to change it but it came with a book of services that i need to do it every 6 miles(10km).
So far im getting 44 mpg city/highway driving.

I see that your location is in Mexico. Are you driving a 2015 FIT? If not, what year is it? It's unusual not to have a service meter in a late model Honda FIT. Maybe they don't put it in models sold in Mexico?
I think 5000 +/- miles is a good baseline for oil changes for regular oil, and 8000+ (not more than 10,000) for synthetic is my rule on a Honda FIT.
You can buy Mobil 1 Synthetic at Walmart or Costco or anywhere and bring it to the dealer if they will cooperate and install it. They should discount the oil change if you bring your own oil. I have done this once before at a dealer.
Don't sweat a +/- 2mpg change. There are so many things that could have caused that and the vast majority are nothing to worry about.
Also, fun fact: the MPG meter on the display will max out at 199.9mpg.
Source: I went to the top of Rocky Mountain National Park and coasted to the bottom.
EDIT: to clarify, this was just for the individual drive. I stopped the engine at the top and then coasted to the bottom; 199.9 on the display at the bottom. I have a picture, but they are annoying to post here.
