I think we need a better definition of "car-jacking". That happens when the driver is attacked, removed from the vehicle or forced to drive the perp. What has been discussed here is outright theft or robbery. Car-jacking is, at best, terrifying. A stolen car is beyond irritating but not life-threatening.
